St. Patrick’s Day at Aravilla Sarasota
St, Patrick’s Day celebrations were held at Aravilla Sarasota last month. Kristen and Jade decorated with green and gold balloons and banners. The dining room windows were decorated with all of the resident’sSt. Patrick’s Day art. Many residents wore their green attire to commemorate this special day. Also to avoid getting pinched. Ha! Ha! We had funky glasses and other props we used to take pictures with. Residents enjoyed the day with yummy green Jello cups with candy rainbows and fluffy whipped cream clouds. They were almost too cute to eat. Such a great time! Happy St. Patrick’s Day to all.

Fundraising Yard Sale!
Aravilla Sarasota is organizing its Annual Aravilla charity yard sale on April 12th from 8 am to Noon, with the goal of supporting our team’s fundraising efforts for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. To make this event successful we rely on your contributions of gently used items. You can support a great cause by cleaning out your storage and donating items such as scarves, purses, jewelry and other accessories as well as lamps, home décor, small appliances, furniture, toys, games and sporting goods. Please note that we cannot accept clothing this year. We are grateful for your support and ask that you submit your donations to Aravilla Sarasota by April 6th. Join Our Alzheimer’s Walk
The Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s Walk is the largest event to raise funds and awareness for the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association. The walk is held in more than 600 communities and cities nationwide. This year, Aravilla Sarasota is excited to once again participate in the walk. More than 6 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s and over 11 million family and friends provide their unpaid care. We need your help to end this devastating disease.
