Last month’s Make-A-Wish Tea party’s theme was “Roaring 20’s”. We enjoyed food, champagne and lots of entertainment from the crew & raised over $110 for the ‘Make-A-Wish Foundation’ from our residents’ generous donations.

On 14 December 1990, the United Nations General Assembly designated October 1 as the International Day of Older Persons. People worldwide are living longer. Today most people can expect to live into their sixties and beyond. Every country in the world is experiencing growth in both the size and the proportion of older persons in the population. A longer life brings with it opportunities, not only for older people and their families, but also for societies as a whole.
Craft Classes
Alda, Ellen, Georgina, Activity Assistant Emily & Goldie enjoy our regular craft classes. We are currently creating wreaths to help decorate our community for the upcoming holidays. Our resident elves are making the basic wreaths & residents will be able to personalize their own Apartment door décor.
